“I would highly encourage anyone driven by professional growth and a vision for the future of Fremont County to apply for Leadership Fremont County”

Leadership Fremont County’s purpose is to identify key individuals with leadership qualities and concern for the County’s future. For fourteen years, this program has given professionals the opportunity to hone leadership skills, network, and gain a deeper understanding of the businesses, culture, and resources available throughout Fremont County.

Participants receive an outstanding educational program that creates a better understanding of public policy issues, economic and social diversity, and the challenges facing our unique area of Wyoming. The program provides classroom instruction, class projects, and visits to area businesses.

Here is what Leadership Fremont County graduates have to say:

“LFC is a great leadership training program – the best I have ever seen. Over my career I have been through 3 or 4 other programs, and LFC is the best. It provides a good mix of leadership development activities, networking opportunities and exposure to county institutions and projects. It is especially good for those seeking career development, and upcoming leaders.” – Brad Tyndall, Ph.D., President, Central Wyoming College

“The program means a lot to me not only because there are so many different things that we get to explore, but there are also many more leaders in the community that we get to connect with, and we are able to explore all of their great attributes and what they mean to our community.” – Kassie Holdren, General Manager, Bailey Enterprises Inc.

“I am passionate about Leadership Fremont County. Graduates of the program have a better understanding of what resources are available to our communities, and can take that knowledge back to their employers. The Leadership training is top-notch. As a board member, I see first hand the passion and dedication the board has in delivering employers exceptional training for their teams.” – Tara Carr, Vice President of Public Relations, Teton Therapy

“At SageWest Health Care our mission is ‘Making Communities Healthier’ and we continually look for opportunities to develop our leaders and invest in Fremont County. One way we are able to support this mission is by encouraging members of our leadership team to participate in Leadership Fremont County. As a member of the 2017-2018 class, I participated in formal leadership training that enhanced my leadership skills, allowed me to network with community members that I typically would not have contact with, provided insight into the resources available in our region and how to truly make an impact in the lives of those who live and visit Fremont County. I would highly encourage anyone driven by professional growth and a vision for the future of Fremont County to apply for the program.” Jennifer Milner, System HR Director, SageWest Health Care

The first Leadership Fremont County class will begin in September 2018. Classes will be full-day sessions held once a month, and will continue through June 2019.
