The Fremont County Library System facilities in Lander, Riverton, and Dubois will be closed until further notice in keeping with current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, Public Health Orders from the Governor’s office, and Fremont County’s COVID-19 response status.
The Library Board, Managers, and staff are committed to serving the community safely and creatively during this health emergency. We invite everyone to explore our online opportunities for ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and a variety of databases to connect you with history, language learning, genealogy research, literature—something for everyone!
If you have library materials checked out, please hold onto them until the library reopens or return them to the exterior book return. We will NOT charge overdue fines during this emergency closure.
And STAY TUNED—we are working on a safe process to connect you with our physical collection of books, audiobooks, and DVDs. This coronavirus has us down—but definitely not out!
Staff will be available at each library to answer the phone 10:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
