    Darren Emerson Bodan

    Darren Emerson Bodan, age 53, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2019, in Grand Junction, Colorado.

    Darren was a gentle man, who was enormously loved by his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of them all. Darren is survived by his 3 children: Tahna Ruth “Ruthy” Sabin (Adam), Janea “J-Bird” Livingston (Paul), and Trevor “T” Bodan. Darren also had 2 step children; Rhianna Johnson and Sheridan Johnson that he appreciated dearly.

    His grandchildren are Cayson Livingston, Dayton Livingston, Brynlee Livingston, Khydalyn Livingston, Taysom Livingston, and Maverick Bodan.

    In addition to his children and grandchildren, Darren is also survived by his parents Duane and Sherry Bodan, his Grandmother Ruth Andrews both of Lander, WY and his Aunt and Uncle Kerry and Randy Stenson of Highland, UT as well as many cousins.Darren was born February 20, 1965, along with his twin sister DeVon, to Sherry and Duane Bodan, in Lander, Wyoming. He graduated from Lander Valley High School, where he was a talented swimmer on a championship team. He excelled in diving and became a state champion. Throughout his life, Darren treasured the outdoors – especially hunting, fishing, and camping. These activities brought him peace. For most of his adult life, Darren worked as an expert meat cutter, and was recognized and appreciated for his exceptional skills.

    Darren was preceded in death by his grandparents Emerson and Joyce Bodan, his Grandfathers Swede Stenson and Kent Andrews, and his beloved twin sister DeVon.

    Darren’s kind heart will be so missed by all who loved him. ‘Ihrough all of his hardships, he never lost his sweet and quiet spirit. God be with you until we meet again.

    Memorial services for Darren will be held on June 8, 2019 at 10:00 am, at the Hudson Funeral Home of Lander, WY. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Lander Pet Connection would be welcomed.
