    Curtis Lesher

    Curtis Dean Lesher 54 of Lander, WY, left this world to be with his savior on July 5th, 2020. Curt was born to Jim and Patricia on April 7th, 1966, in Lander, Wyoming. He was raised by Jim Lesher, John Bennett, and Patricia Reeves in Lander and Casper, WY, and North Pole, AK.

    Curt was a talented athlete and musician. He excelled at baseball, basketball, and football. He sang and played in numerous bands as a young man. Upon graduation from North Pole High School in 1984, Curt embarked on a career as a firefighter, first as a volunteer and then as a full-time member of the North Star Fire Department. Later in life, Curt would pursue a second career in Law Enforcement in Douglas, WY.

    Curt was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing in Alaska and Wyoming. He was a crack shot bringing down several large animals from great distances. He was a life-long OU supporter. Boomer Sooner!

    Curt had two children with Daria, Reign, and Ryan, of North Pole, AK

    Uncle Curt had several nieces and nephews: Kade, MaKayla, Kiley, Alden, Edain, Loralai, and Rogan. He also had several siblings Brian, Stephen, Brandee, Raine, and Jennifer.

    Curt was preceded in death by his biological father, James Lesher, his brother Stephen and his daughter Reign. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, his mother Patricia, and step-father John, as well as his brother Brian and sisters Brandee, Raine, and Jennifer and his son Ryan.

    There will be a memorial on Sunday, July 12th, 3pm at the Lander VFW.
