    Colorado woman facing $780 fine for dumping roofing material near Farson

    On June 7th County 10 first reported that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Wyoming High Desert District Law Enforcement recently concluded an investigation into a large dump of industrial debris found on public land off Highway 191 near Farson.

    Federal officials are now reporting that they have identified and ticketed a Denver, Colorado woman who was responsible for the dumping the roofing material and other trash.

    31-year-old Idalia Reyes-Cruz is now facing a $780 fine if convicted.

    According to an Associated Press report, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management said one of its employees found the trash on May 13th. BLM investigators found a water bottle with a name written on it, and the information led them to Reyes-Cruz.

    Cruz worked in the Jackson-area and was returning to Colorado through Farson.
