#Activate10: Come to the Lander Senior Center fundraising garage sale

#Activate10, presented by your local McDonald’s Restaurants is a County 10 series seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

Due to budget cuts, Lander Senior Center is receiving no funding from the Fremont County Commissioner for their 2021 year and in order to replace those funds, the senior center is hosting a garage sale this Friday and Saturday.

The Garage sale will take place at the Senior Center from 9 am – 2 pm. Masks must be worn inside the buildings and temperature checks will be conducted upon entrance.

The senior center is still taking donations, anyone looking to get rid of some items can drop them off until Wednesday at 2 pm. The center asks that you please wear a mask when entering the building if you intend on donating items.

Lander Senior Center has received lots of great second-hand goodies so stop by and spend some money.

The money raised from this event will go towards meals that serve many senior citizens in Lander.

If you would like to help out the Lander Senior Center but can’t make it to the garage sale, consider becoming a booster. If you are interested please contact the center at (307) 332-2746.
