On Thursday, April 25th the Wind River Job Corps celebrated the graduation of 36 students. Students represented each of the trades offered at the Job Corps, with many of the 36 already employed in their new career fields.
Keynote Speaker Kevin Kershisnik praised the graduate’s dedication and persistence and relayed to them that many lucrative employment opportunities are available for qualified individuals who are both dependable and willing to learn.
Student speakesr included Oden Leahy, Charles Barrett III and Miquel Maldanaldo. All three speakers expressed their appreciation of the support and hard work that the Wind River staff did to help them finish their respective programs. Individual staff member were recognized by the graduates during the ceremony when the graduates left their seats and went into the audience giving staff members a flower.
