(Jeffrey City, WY) – At around 10:19 pm last night, August 16th, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded approximately 20 miles northeast of Jeffrey City and 36 miles southeast of Riverton.
There are no community reports of feeling the earthquake on the USGS website as of 6:30 am August 17th.
