#10life: RPD makes a stop at local kids’ popsicle stand

#10life is County 10 series to share and celebrate everything that’s great about local life in Fremont County, brought to you by RE/MAX All-Star, Realtors.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this. Last year, stories of RPD stopping at Riverton lemonade stands surfaced, but no pictures could be found.

Today we’re happy to share a little hot-weather cool down moment. Ashley Walton shared a public Facebook post about Riverton Police Department Officers who took the time to stop and buy popsicles from her children’s popsicle stand.

The coolest thing happened today! The Riverton chief of police showed up to the kids’ popsicle stand and radioed his squad to come so he could buy them all popsicles. After just a few minutes our corner was lined with four squad cars plus the animal control truck. We had a great time and the kids got stickers and a tour of a car. Our police rock!
