(Shoshoni, WY) – The 2021 Boysen Ice Fishing Derby kicked off Friday and wrapped up at 12:00 pm today, January 24th. Over 600 entered into this year’s derby, according to the folks at B & K Shoreline Stop.
A few lucky anglers this weekend had quite the catches including an 11-pound walleye and an over 7-pound rainbow trout.
Below are the results of the derby announced at this afternoon’s awards ceremony:
- Crappie: Jeremy Asmus – 1.10, Tristen Boysen – 1.10, Richard Smith – 1.06, Steven Bellis – 1.05
- Ling: Beau Jarvis – 3.14, Kenneth Post – 3.11, Bryandt Ruid – 3.11, Austin Mireles – 3.09
- Perch: Dean Coffman – 1.13, Ken Burr – 1.11, Sealey Johnson – 1.10, Ross Thornock – 1.10
- Trout: McLean Gardner – 7.08, Buddy Federer – 4.13, Jeremy Asmus – 4.07, Randy Kusel – 4.04
- Walleye: Beau Jarvis – 11, Preston Lee – 7.10, Hunter Schnepper – 7.10, Troy Schnepper – 7.06
