South and East gates to Yellowstone to open for day-use on May 18th.
The National Park Service announced Wednesday morning that the Wyoming gates into Yellowstone National Park will open on May 18, with some restrictions. The Wind River Visitors Council is acting on two fronts:
1) Encourage travelers to take our Circle the Continental Divide Route road trip through Wind River Country and both parks.
2) Remind travelers that it is imperative that they travel responsibly—for their sake and ours.
