Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks are Open Via Wyoming

South and East gates to Yellowstone to open for day-use on May 18th.

The National Park Service announced Wednesday morning that the Wyoming gates into Yellowstone National Park will open on May 18, with some restrictions. The Wind River Visitors Council is acting on two fronts:

1) Encourage travelers to take our Circle the Continental Divide Route road trip through Wind River Country and both parks.

2) Remind travelers that it is imperative that they travel responsibly—for their sake and ours.

This week, the WRVC is reminding travelers to be responsible as they start to plan travels

WRVC is maintaining the COVID-19 travel information page with the latest information on closures and travel guidelines. This page is featured prominently in several places on the homepage.
