Snow and wind is expected across Wyoming this holiday week, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.
Lower elevations of Fremont County, such as Riverton, Hudson, Moneta and Shoshoni, will likely only receive the cold and windy side of the forecast. Higher elevations like Dubois and Crowheart could see snow begin falling on New Year’s Eve and last through Friday. Lander, Atlantic City, South Pass City and Jeffrey City could see snow on New Years Day but will likely just be chilly and windy.
