The last few days of frigid temperatures helped freeze the ice at ‘Tonkinfeller Plaza’ and allowed the rink to finally open today, December 30th.
They are open daily from 1pm – 8pm during Christmas break, except tomorrow, December 31st they will be closing at 5pm.
When the kiddos are back in school, the hours switch to Fridays from 3pm – 8pm, Saturdays from 1pm – 8pm and Sundays from 1pm – 5pm.
It’s free to skate and the friendly folks at the rink can set you up with rentals for $3.
Maybe skating isn’t your thing, you can bring a sled and take a ride on the hill next to the rink.
