Brad Jones snapped the photo above and Amy Mobley Reynolds captured the series of videos from her porch near the northeast Wyoming community of Moorcroft Tuesday.
A skinny, but well defined, tornado touched down briefly in a fairly rural area. Moorcroft-area residents reported there were farms, households, and a highway nearby, but that it did not appear to cause damage to any structures or create any injuries.
Portions of Crook County were under a tornado warning for nearly an hour Tuesday evening. Campbell County residents were under a tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warning.
