    Three arrested for August 4th homicide in Fremont County

    All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Seth Blackburn, Peter [Homer] Blackburn, and Brent Gould are all facing charges for the murder of 29-year-old Victor Addison on August 4th, 2019. The Fremont County Coroner’s Office reported in September Addison’s cause of death a “gunshot wound to the head” and manner of death a “homicide.”

    Very few details are provided in the indictment filed on November 21st against the Blackburns and Gould. However, it alleges they kidnapped Addison on August 4th, and Seth Blackburn is the one who shot him.

    Seth Blackburn faces the following six charges: a felon in possession of a firearm, kidnapping, first-degree murder, assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to commit murder, and use, carry and discharge of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. These charges total “Life Imprisonment, Up to $1,500,000 Fine, 5 Years to Life Supervised Release, and $600 Special Assessment,” according to the indictment.

    Peter [Homer] Blackburn and Brent Gould each face five charges for aiding and abetting in Addison’s death. Their charges total “Life Imprisonment, Up to $1,000,000 Fine, 5 Years to Life Supervised Release, and $400 Special Assessment,” according to the indictment.

    The federal court trial for the Blackburns and Gould was “reset” last week and is now scheduled for February 4th, 2020.

    County 10 reached out to the lead investigators, the FBI, for more information. They have “no comment” on this case right now.
