The man responsible for the internet’s latest viral video has a pretty strong connection to Fremont County.
But first, just in case you haven’t seen it…
Nathan Apodaca is the Fleetwood Mac Skater that’s taken the internet by storm. Nobody’s 100% sure if it’s the part where he sips Cran-Raspberry juice straight from the bottle or the lip syncing part from the 1977 hit song ‘Dreams,’ but something about this TikTok video is just too good to not smile at. It’s been viewed over 20 million times.
An LA Times article told us that Nathan is 37-years-old and hails from Idaho. Apodaca was born and raised in Idaho, but his mom is an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe and is from Wyoming.
We also learned that Nathan may have the most Idaho-stereotypical job of all time. He works in a potato warehouse.
His viral video is paying off financially for him, he has raised about $10,000 from followers after telling folks he wants to buy a new RV. He’s also selling beanies on his Twitter page.
