    #Smiles: Week 2 winners of the “Creative Quarantine Competition” announced

    A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Rendezvous Dental.

    Week 2 winners of the “Creative Quarantine Competition” have been announced! The Academy of the Winds received 30 entries this week and the competition was tough, shared Executive Director/Head Teacher Jenny Schucker.

    The Week 2 challenge was to submit a song or poem. Below are the winners in each age bracket along with their submission provided by Academy of the Winds.


    Lower Elementary Winner: Grace

    “There were so many wonderful entries that we decided to feature one entry each day on our Facebook page,” Jenny explained.

    These kids worked so hard this week. We cannot wait to see what they create this week.

    Week 3’s Topic:

    Photo or Drawing with a creative caption. (The entry has to have been taken or drawn within the last month)

    They will also be judging the adult competition. The topic for that is “Write a letter to a future generation.”

    As a reminder, this fun competition is open to all Fremont County kiddos kindergarten through high school. Winners each week will receive a $50 gift card to a local Lander business.
