Lander Mayor declares “Robert Keiser Day,” honoring Vietnam Veteran

Lander Mayor Del McOmie has proclaimed that this Veterans Day, November 11th, will also be known as “Robert L. Keiser Day” in Lander.

Keiser served in the United States Army for nine years, from 1970-1979, spending time in Vietnam.


McOmie gave a “heartfelt thanks” to Keiser and to all local military members at the October 23rd Lander City Council meeting.

He called the acts of servicemen and women a, “debt of gratitude we can never repay.”
