    Joe Biden wins Wyoming Democratic presidential caucus

    Former Vice President and 2020 Democratic Presidential hopefully Joe Biden won Wyoming’s Democratic caucus last week.

    Biden received 72.2% of the vote from the state while Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders received 27.8%. 15,428 ballots were case total in the caucus.

    Sanders suspended his presidential campaign on April 8th, making way for Biden to become the presumptive Democrat nominee.

    Wyoming’s Democratic caucus allowed mail-in and drop-off ballots only due to COVID-19. The Wyoming Democratic Party allowed two extra weeks for mail-in votes from the original timeline.

    The Wyoming Republican Party State Convention is scheduled for May 7-9 in Gillette.
