    In loving memory, Shaedyn Archambault

Shaedyn Marie Archambault — beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, and talented artist & entertainer—passed away on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 at her home in Firestone, CO. She was 17 years old.

Born September 2004 to Damien Archambault and Heather Niemann-Archambault, Shaedyn immediately stole the hearts of everyone she met – both human & animal. With a beautiful smile, huge heart, and larger-than-life personality, Shaedyn never met a stranger. With a silly grin, she would tell the funniest stories and jokes, entertaining family & friends with her vivid imagination for hours at a time. When not entertaining the humans, Shaedyn could be found sharing a song, story, or joke with her cherished animals, who many times ended up as characters in her performances.

It was a common occurrence for Shaedyn to become someone’s “best friend” in about 5 minutes. After that, she was there to hype you up to every person she talked to with nothing but positivity. She always had the ability to find goodness in everyone and most situations. A profound statement was made by a loved one who said “ Shae is an angel that fell onto this mortal Earth”. If you met her, you believe this to be true.

Blessed with perfect comedic timing, Shaedyn was an outgoing girl who loved the arts & acting nearly as much as she loved animals. When not entertaining family, friends or pets, Shaedyn loved to be in front of an audience on the CWC stage, acting in such productions as Annie Get Your Gun, A Christmas Carol, and Everyman. Her stage family held a very special place in her heart.

From her very beginnings, Shaedyn loved to perform and entertain. This led her to be an enthusiast of all types of theatre, cinema, television, and music. Some of the movies, television shows, and books that were Shaedyn’s favorites were rarely the ones with the fairytale ending. She enjoyed the storyline that had struggle, angst, absurd situations, nonsensical themes and a token weird character. One of her favorite shows was The Office. Dwight Shrute being her favorite character, followed closely by Jim. Maybe she identified with him because of his comedic timing, but also that he cared about everyone and would do anything to protect them.

Shaedyn could throw herself into practically any storyline and become one with it, allowing the characters to be friends or family. The world was the place of beauty & magic in the eyes of a dreamer with a creative soul like Shaedyn. Never tiring of her favorites, she could read the same book 20 times and watch her favorite movies just as many, always finding joy and excitement like it was the very first time. She was capable of looking at things in a fresh way to keep that sense of wonder and curiosity with each new interest, willing to be different, embracing what seemed impossible.

Shaedyn lit up any room she entered with her presence and bright smile. She was always up for travel and adventure in the city lights. Shaedyn was a movie buff(cinephile) who could carry on high level discussions about any Jim Henson™ or Disney™ production made over the last 40 years since the age of 7. She is the most precious daughter and big sister that anyone could ask for, in addition to the most understanding, forgiving, selfless “Ride or Die” kind of friend that anyone could dream of. Her departure from earth into heaven has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all that love her.

All will miss her dearly. Now that Shaedyn is at rest, let us hold her close, in our minds and in spirits. Let us encourage within ourselves those gifts that made her special and the extraordinary beauty of her heart. “ I love you. I love you most. I love you the mostest.”
