Taylor McGregor is quickly climbing the ranks in her sports broadcasting career. Taylor is the daughter of the former Colorado Rockies President of Operations, Keli McGregor. Keli died in 2010 at age 47 because of a rare virus that infected his heart.
Taylor grew up in Colorado, but went to Arkansas for college. After graduating and obtaining a TV job in the Natural State, she received an offer from KCWY News 13 in Casper, Wyoming as a TV sportscaster.
After a quick stop in Casper, she received an opportunity to become the Colorado Rockies field reporter for AT&T Sports Network in 2018. Two years later, the third largest media market in the country, Chicago, came calling. McGregor accepted a position as a reporter for the Marquee Sports Network, working with the Chicago Cubs.
Taylor joined the County 10 Kickoff Podcast this week to chat about her career path and the future of Major League Baseball during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She also discusses her Wyoming memories and specifically, a bit about a connection she has to Riverton.
