(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday morning that a 47-year-old Fremont County man was found deceased in his cell at the Fremont County Detention Center in Lander on Saturday evening of an apparent suicide.
The incident remains under investigation with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Lander Police Department and the Fremont County Coroner’s Office.
The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending notification of family members.
No further information will be released at this time, according to the announcement.
