According to a release from the Riverton Police Department, a washing machine was stolen Tuesday morning.
At 9:58 a.m. the appliance was stolen from an alley, directly behind Sears near West Main in Riverton.
The report did not confirm whether or not the washer was the property of Sears, but it is presumed.
Two other theft calls were reported in Riverton Tuesday afternoon, one of which was about medication stolen from a vehicle on East Main Street.
Another complaint was filed about license plates that were taken from a trailer on East Park Avenue.
