According to a media release from the Riverton Police Department, six people were arrested in connection with a kidnapping and assault incident Saturday, April 20th.
At 11:34 p.m. RPD were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Eagle Drive, part of the College Hill Apartments.
An RPD release states,
2 females were held against their will for approximately 9 hours inside an apartment. They were kicked, punched, had taser burn marks on their arms, necks, and faces. Both female victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.”
Arrests made at the residence included:
Geraldine Blackburn, 56, Riverton for Aggravated Assault and Battery
Basil Blackburn, 32, Riverton – Aggravated Assault and Batter (X2) and Kidnapping (X2)
Kelly Martinez, 22, Colorado, Aggravated Assault and Battery, Colorado Warrant
Darilyne Dodge, 34, Arapahoe, Aggravated Assault and Battery
Janelle Warren, 23, Arapahoe, Aggravated Assault and Battery
Jakota Wolfname, 28, Riverton, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3 Fremont County Warrants, Probation Revocation
