    13 COVID-related hospitalizations reported in Fremont County

    The Fremont County Incident Management Team released the following information and statistics this afternoon, October 27th.


    Tuesday, October 27, 2020 – Current Statistics for Fremont County COVID-19

    • 1084 Total Tested Positive (277 positive and 38 probable since 10/19/2020)
    • 15 Deaths due to COVID-19
    • 8.6% Percentage of positives to total tests
    • 13 Current Hospitalizations due to COVID-19

    COVID-19 At-Home Testing

    Wyoming offers free at-home COVID-19 testing through a company called Vault. These tests are available to Wyoming residents at no cost; insurance is not necessary.

    This saliva-based test does not require a nasal swab. The test uses high-quality laboratory technology for a high level of effectiveness. The sample collection process is performed under the supervision of a Vault healthcare provider through an online, video-based telehealth visit: Vault Health

    Disease symptoms which may appear 2 to 14 days after exposure, include fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell.

    Older residents and people with certain health conditions have a higher risk of developing more serious illness.
