#WyoStrong: Cheyenne firefighters deliver baby boy during blizzard

#WyoStrong stories, brought to you by Wyoming Community Bank, highlight Wyoming perseverance, ingenuity, creativity and resilience.

(Cheyenne, WY) – Over the last few days, we’ve been hearing many stories about community members helping each other out across Wyoming during a record breaking snowstorm last week.

By far one of the most impressive stories belongs to the Cheyenne Fire Department.

When an expecting mother couldn’t get out of her residence safely, the crew from CFD Ladder 1 rendered care to the mom and delivered a baby boy successfully.

While some members of the team delivered the baby, other members were digging snow to allow access for an ambulance crew to get to the house.

A big shout out to our County 2 neighbors, the Cheyenne Fire Department and the family involved!
