According to a new survey from Wallet Hub, Wyoming ranks as one of the most politically engaged states in the country.
The website took data from recent elections such as registered voter percentage, voter turnout, and voters who participated in making political contributions.
Overall, Wyoming ranked sixth in engagement. Probably not surprisingly, Washington D.C. ranked first, followed by Maine, Utah, Maryland, and Washington.
The least politically engaged states were Alabama, Hawaii, and in last place, New Mexico.
Wyoming ranked first in the nation in “Largest % Change in Electorate Who Voted in 2016 Elections vs. 2012 Elections.”
The 2018 General Election in Wyoming is Tuesday, November 6th.
