Wyoming brewery honors 13 U.S. service members who died in Afghanistan explosion

(Rock Springs, WY) – 11 United States Marines, 1 Navy Corpsman and 1 Soldier were killed in an attack near Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan last week. The total death toll from the attack is now over 160 and continues to grow.

One of the deceased United States Marines was Lance Cpl. Rylee J. McCollum of Bondurant, Wyoming. McCollum had won the National Defense Service Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

Donations for Rylee’s wife and unborn child have poured in from across the country and now total over $300,000.

Rock Springs-based Bad Joker Brewing recently honored the 13 military members with a display at their establishment.
