THOMAS BANKS

Thomas Banks was born June 8th 1953 and passed September 20th, 2020 in Basin Wyoming after a long illness.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Banks, and mother, Gloria banks. He is survived by his sister Sharon hellebrandt and husband, Jim Hellebrandt of Nevada, nephew Brandon Hellebrandt of Nevada and niece Jaime Hellebrandt of California.
Tom was born in New Mexico and traveled to many destinations with his military family.

Settling in California, Tom pursued his education and achieved a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing his education, he moved to Santa Barbara to be near the ocean and found work as an engineer. Tom was a successful Engineer with many inventions to his name.

He retired early and moved to his beloved Wyoming. Tom’s passion was the outdoors. He was an avid scuba diver and hunter, which lead him to a quiet life in Lander, Wyoming where he became active in the gun and Elks club.

He will be missed.
