    Several thefts reported in Lander over the last few days

    The Lander Police Department is once again reminding motorists to lock vehicles and when possible, keep valuable possessions out of their vehicles, especially overnight.

    Several reports of theft, many of which are vehicle break-ins, have been reported over the last 5 days according to the LPD call log.

    On Saturday morning, LPD responded to thefts on Buena Vista Drive, Vista Circle, Main Street, Parks Street, and N. 3rd Street.

    3 of the auto thefts reported missing firearms, including at least two handguns and one shotgun. One property owner also reported a stolen flag from a residence.

    Additionally, on Saturday evening a 12-year-old male from Lander was cited for stealing a bicycle. Shoplifting citations were issued for a 18-year-old St. Stephens resident, a 16-year-old Riverton resident, and a 13-year-old Riverton resident.

    On Sunday afternoon, LPD investigated a break-in at a bar in the 800 block of Main Street. A theft of cash was reported, but not the exact amount. A report was also taken on Sunday about stolen skateboard parts.

    On Monday, a gas station on the 100 block of Main Street reported a theft of alcohol. That subject is yet to be located.
