    Ronald Eugene Iversen

    Ronald Eugene Iversen was born on the 22nd of June, 1949 in Cheyenne, WY to Juanita and Alvin Iversen. Ron Passed peacefully on January 14th, 2020 in his home, in his favorite chair, with his dogs by his side. Ron is proceeded in death by his parents and his best friend, Cymro.

    Ron grew up in Cheyenne, WY where he attended high school. He then got his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming. He would mow the lawn for the Wyoming Game and Fish which fueled his love for the profession. He continued to work for the Wyoming Game and Fish for 40 years while running a successful auctioneering business.

    You could always find Ron at the coffee shop at 10 a.m. chatting the morning away with his friends. His hobbies included anything outdoors whether it be riding horses, fishing, camping, or hunting. Ron had as ease with people always being able to strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved reading and also writing poetry.

    Ron is survived by his wife, Alexandra, two sons, Casey and Kip. One granddaughter, Jessie and two grandsons, Marcus and Ethan.

    Funeral services will be held at the Litlle Snake River Community Center on February 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Baggs, WY and a reception to follow.
