Pugs on parade in downtown Lander [Photos]

In what may have been the most adorable parade in Fremont County history, dozens of pugs and their owners marched proudly down Lander’s Main Street Friday afternoon.

The parade is just one of many festivities happening with the 2019 “Pug Roundup.” The 3-day event allows proud pug owners from all across the region to get together for competition, fun, and companionship.

Friday night features a pug pizza and pajama party for attendees and an opportunity for pugs owners to make cowboy hats and bandanas for their pooches.

Saturday will be the main event with activities happening all day at the Lander Drill Fields. A photo booth, vendors, games, drawings, and more will take place. On Sunday, pugs are invited to a walk around Lander City Park.
