Paws Pet of the Week: Meet Beni

Today’s Pet of the Week is brought to you by RE/MAX  All-Star, REALTORS!

Beni is around 4.5 months old and an Aussie mix. Beni’s foster Mama learned a lot about this lil’ guy. Here’s what she had to say about her time with Beni:

“Beni is house trained and even heads to the door and whines to let you know when he needs out. He’s great with other animals but shy with new people. Thankfully, he’s sleeping through the night! We don’t kennel him anymore. Kennel training was just too traumatizing for him.

Watch those favorite pair of boots! Beni is a chewer, but he’s also a good listener. Command him to drop the shoe and he will, then run and grab one of his many toys instead. A smart lil’ pup and very vocal I might add. Whines, yips and moans are how he likes to communicate with the fam and our pups. ?

I don’t think he’ll ever be a free feeder with his food, though. Going without food for so long when he was young has left him with a great appetite! We like to watch him like a hawk during feeding time, just to make sure he doesn’t eat everyone else’s food too.”

Beni is a sweet and complex boy just yearning to find a loving family that  just gets him.

You can meet Beni at PAWS for Life,  located at 515 S Smith Rd in Riverton, WY 82501. Phone: 307-857-6002
