A 42-year-old Cheyenne man has died after he was involved in an accident in a construction zone in I-25 in Wyoming on Thursday.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says that Stephen Anderson was on foot in the construction zone, attempting to get help because his truck had run out of gas.
He was struck and killed by a vehicle going northbound, about 11 miles south of Glendo. The crash happened around 8:00 p.m. and Anderson was dressed in all black.
WHP says they believe he may have been distracted by another motorist who had pulled in front of his truck, causing Anderson to not be aware that he was standing directly on the interstate.
