A man has died after a police pursuit ended on Interstate 25 near Casper according to a release from the Casper Star-Tribune.
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation says the man was likely shot as police arrived, but details around the nature of the gunshot were not immediately available.
DCI Special Agent Ryan Cox said an autopsy would be performed to determine how the man died and whether police shot the man or if he shot himself.
The man’s identity has not been released to the media thus far.
The pursuit began Monday night after a stolen Dodge truck was reported to law enforcement.
