Lander Community Foundation announces Platinum Sponsors for Challenge for Charities

Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness.

Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

LONNIE BULL, EDWARD JONES MAKES A $10,000 PLATINUM DONATION TO CHALLENGE FOR CHARITIES

Edward Jones become a community Challenger for the first time. Their $10,000 Platinum donation makes them a philanthropic leader in the community and encourages other donors to participate in the great services that our local nonprofits provide. Nonprofit organizations that participate in Challenge for Charities offer services ranging from animal care, arts and culture, conservation and the environment, education, health and human services and everything in between. Because a record 44 nonprofits are participating this year, contributions are spread over a wide variety of worthy causes.

“When I looked at our current level of community giving, I found that becoming a Challenger is an easy way to care for and benefit many of Lander’s great causes that I have already supported in the past,” says Lonnie Bull. “I am proud to become a Challenge for Charities Platinum Sponsor, to further support the Lander Community.”

There are three ways to participate in challenge for Charities. You can become a Challenger, donate to your favorite nonprofit(s) or register to run the 4th of July Half Marathon, 5K or One Mile Mad Dash. Visit www.landercommunityfoundation.org for more information.
