Equestrian center/farm manager position opening in May. Must have experience with horses and a farming background would be preferred.
Daily duties include feeding 2-14 boarded horses, pasture and blanket horses, cleaning and maintenance of indoor and outdoor stalls, and monitoring waterers. Employee will be required to drive a tractor to drag the indoor arena, as well as water it to keep the dust down. Required to restock alfalfa (5 ton or so) with company vehicle and trailer.
Must be familiar with 4 and 6 wheelers for weed control across farm. Free employee housing (2 bed/1 bath) located on the farm, utilities included, and $2000.00 per month (paid bi-weekly) for position. Job requires 7 days a week, with assistance from part time help if needed for time off. No farming/harvesting of the land will be required for this position.
