Foster Grandparents needed!

    The Central Wyoming Foster Grandparent Program is seeking volunteers 55 and older to serve as mentors, tutors and emotional support for children and youth in schools, early childhood centers and other youth-based programs.

    If you are or know a senior adult who would like to give back to our community, the Foster Grandparent Program could be what you’re looking for!

    As an older adult, the skill set you possess is just what the Foster Grandparent Program needs. From traditional classrooms to specialized trade experience, foster grandparents can provide invaluable guidance and support to our children and youth!

    Foster grandparents receive BENEFITS in return for their service – TAX-FREE stipend to offset the cost of volunteering (that does not effect social security and other benefits), holiday and paid time off, paid milage, community recognition, pre-service and monthly trainings, works with your schedule (work 5-40 hours per week) plus you get to make a difference in a young life!
