(Riverton, Wyo.) – Riverton Schools Superintendent Terry Snyder Tuesday night acknowledged parents of the football team players for feeding them breakfast during the recent camp the team attended.
“Our parents really stepped up and supported the kids,” Snyder said, ticking off a list of how much breakfast food the players consumed during the five mornings of the camp.
The parents provided, and cooked:
600 biscuits
480 pancakes
440 sausage links
240 tortillas
59 pounds of ground sausage
47 dozen eggs
25 gallons of milk and orange juice
16 gallons of gravy
12 pounds of potatoes
6 pounds of bacon
4 giant bowls of fruit
3 pounds of cheese
2 gallons of syrup
1 pound of butter.
In providing the list, one parent wrote: “Five mornings of (breakfast) with the RHS football team has been priceless. Good luck this season boys. GO BIG RED!”
