    #HeadsUp: Popo Agie Conservation District’s well water testing day is Wednesday

    As a service to our constituents, Popo Agie Conservation District (PACD) annually provides a Well Water Testing Day.  For 2019, it is this Wednesday, May 22nd.  You need to collect the water that morning and bring it to their office (221 S. 2nd Street, Lander) by 12:00 noon.  Option 1 is free and the other tests are at a 50% cost share.

    You qualify to participate:

    1. If you live within the conservation district boundary which includes the communities of Lander, Ethete, Ft. Washakie, Hudson, Jeffery City, Atlantic City (click here to a map).
    2. If you have a well.

    The Conservation District has testing kits. Payment must be made at the time you pick up the kit.  We accept checks and cash. Results of the analysis will be mailed directly to the landowner. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the PACD office at 332-3114.
