    Former Wyoming coal mine VP admits to stealing millions from his company and investors

    Former Wyoming coal mine Vice President Larry Wayne Price Jr. pleaded guilty last week to embezzling several millions of dollars from investors in the Signal Peak Coal Mine, located in Montana.

    U.S. District Court Judge Dana Christensen sentenced Price Jr. to five years in prison Friday afternoon in Missoula.

    According to the Billings Gazette, the 40-year-old man admitted in court to helping his boss, “carry out a scheme” of over charging for fake equipment sales. He estimated the thefts totaled around $40 million.
