    Daniel Mock

    On June 7th, 2020, the fascinating life of Daniel Tobin Mock was cut short as he drowned in Frye Lake following a small plane crash flown and survived by Scott Fitzgerald. Daniel’s life was one of intense joy and wonder.

    He loved so fully and expressed it so wonderfully to his family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. He had an intense love for nature and the outdoors and was an avid climber. Daniel was a lover of animals, especially his ever-present sidekick Gnome’, his dog.

    Daniel was a talented carpenter and worked with area businesses, finishing his career with his good friend, Christian Gauderer of Bluebird Builders. Daniel had a myriad of accomplished skills including Skydiving, Scuba Diving, Boat Captain, Slacklining, High Lining, Radio, and Cell tower repair and installation, Surfer. Musician and Song Writer and many, many others.

    He will be sorely missed by those who knew and followed Daniel’s many adventures and lived vicariously through him. Daniel left a magical trail of happiness and optimism everywhere he went in this wide world and he will be painfully missed and eternally loved. Daniel was born smiling and he never stopped. He was 33 years old.

    Daniel was survived by his parents, Tobin and Kathy Mock, his sisters Virginia Mock and Emily Viator, his nephews Alex and Max Viator, his faithful dog Gnome’, his huge extended family of Mocks in Arkansas, and thousands of his best friends from coast to coast.
