    CWC Spikers win 1 of 3 matches in first home stand

    After splitting the first two home openers last weekend with Laramie County  (L, 3-0) and Eastern Wyoming  (W, 3-2), the Central Wyoming College Lady Rustlers came out excited to play Western Wyoming.  The Rustlers won their first set (25-23), but struggled the next three sets, ultimately losing to WWCC in four sets (25-23, 14-25, 18-25, 19-25.)

    The Rustlers were led offensively by Calisha Simms who had a total of 13 kills on the evening.  Teammate Naz Sahin added 10 kills to the team total of 44 for the night.  Riley Haderlie led the Rustlers defensively with 10 digs.

    The Rustlers will head to Casper College to take on the Lady T-Birds on Saturday, October 6th.  The first serve is set for 3:00pm.
