There are so many great efforts underway in Riverton. So many, in fact, that frequently even the most plugged-in volunteers are unaware of all the initiatives going on. A group in Riverton is seeking to organize all the positive action by opening up communication.
The “Community Service Organization Gathering” will be held on Monday, July 15th at 6pm in the Riverton City Hall Chambers. The public is welcome to attend.
Mary Axthelm, one of the meeting organizers, said that “our goal is to connect the community by bringing together service groups, active volunteers, youth service clubs, and youth/adult sports organizations to network with one another.”
The hope is that this meeting will “engage like-minded influencers, build partnerships, leverage resources and empower our community members to continue making a difference” she shared.
