All smiles at Christmas Care Day as Rendezvous Dental provides free dental work
Christmas Care Day is the event of the year for Rendezvous Dental where community members in need can receive free dental care. On Saturday, January 11th the team performed approximately $16,000 in free care, ranging from cleanings to extractions.
While many smiling individuals are thanking Rendezvous Dental for their services, the staff at Rendezvous Dental are passing the baton to all the many people and organizations behind the event. Owner, Dr. Colton Crane explained, “Over 100 volunteer hours went into preparing for and carrying out Christmas Care Day.”
Crane and staff performed the work but many of the necessary supplies were donated by Patterson Dental. “This is a massive contribution,” said Crane. “Thank you, Patterson Dental!”
We would also like to thank the Riverton Police Department for their presence at our event. RPD drove by to make sure the crowds didn’t get out of hand as we opened our doors.
Rendezvous Dental provided care for about 65 people on Saturday. Some people started lining up as early as 5:30 am. The doors opened at 7:30 and services were provided until about 5 pm.
“It really helps us out financially and I’m sure a lot of people. Dental is expensive and a lot of people don’t have insurance,” stated Zach Bolte. He and his wife heard about the event last year, but it was the day of and they missed it. This year they watched and waited for the event. They’ve never been to Rendezvous before, but I’ll bet they’ll be back!
Many people expressed their gratitude towards the event, “This means a lot because I don’t have insurance. It’s worth waiting [in line] for.”
Crane attributes the success of Christmas Care Day to the many people and organizations involved. “With your help, we’re able to help those in need, thank you all!”
