Memorial Day weekend brings a Veterans Fair, gun show, car show, stargazing, and more!

“Remember our heroes and the fallen.” That is what comes to my mind every Memorial Day. I honor and reverence the heritage of military veterans in my own family…one of my grandfathers fought in WWI (there was a letter that he wrote to my grandmother about bullets whizzing by him and not hitting him because of the sweater she knitted for him). Another grandfather was a pilot in WWII. Perhaps you have members of your own family that you honor and have stories that you share on Memorial Day…be sure to check out County 10’s Memorial Day services listing for information on services in your community. Take the family and make it an annual tradition.

There’s plenty to do in Fremont County this weekend, and it looks like it’s going to be a nice one for all kinds of activities…there’s some spring cleaning going on with Wyoing Game & Fish at the ponds in Riverton, a huge Veterans Fair up in Dubois, a car show, a gun show…and if you’re having a garage sale this weekend, be sure to get it listed on County 10 Garage Sales so folks know where to go to pop some tags!

Also, looks like it will be a good weekend to fire up the ol’ grill! Whatever your plans and wherever you go this holiday weekend, travel safely, celebrate responsibly, and most of all…have fun!
