We are teaming up with Porters again this year to present the Porters Grilled Event over Father’s Day weekend! Stop by the Porters parking lot on June 15th from 11-3pm for some fun for the whole family! Check out the Grilled Challenge, free BBQ, kids carnival, and Dad Olympics!
During the Grilled Challenge, an exciting competition inspired by the popular Chopped Challenge on TV, three competitors will go head-to-head to grill the best burger, but with some thrilling twists like mystery ingredients and varying grill sizes, from a compact travel grill to Dad’s dream grill.
This year’s “Grilled” competitors include Jeremy Mejorado of Fremont Ford Riverton, Mike Chingman, a smoking connoisseur, and we have one open competitor spot for a grill enthusiast from the public to enter. If you think you have what it takes to impress our judges, this is your chance to shine!
Mark your calendars and bring your family and friends! Last year, over 300 people attended this amazing event. Porters was out grilling up delicious hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone, while kids had a blast with the free bounce house and games.
One of the highlights will be the Dad Olympics, where local dads can sign up to compete in mini-challenges ranging from tying a tie to flipping a burger and sticking the landing. The fastest competitor will win a brand-new recliner from GAMBLES! Spots for the Dad Olympics are limited, so sign up now to secure your chance to compete.
