The Fremont County School District #25 Recreation Board held their annual public meeting tonight, January 6th, for project proposal submissions from local nonprofit organizations and groups within the district.
This yearly meeting is only to hear those project proposals. Notification of the board’s decisions will be sent to the group or organization within the next four weeks, according to the grant application.
During tonight’s meeting, Cameron Fehring was given the 2019 ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award. Cameron has been instrumental in organizing events throughout Fremont County over the last few years. Most recently, he spearheaded the Riverton Holiday Festival.
