Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.
Dubois residents are organizing a benefit to help support 10-year-old Oughen Karn, who was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Oughen recently started chemotherapy treatments at the Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City and has a long road ahead of him.
The benefit “Get Orange for Oughen!” will be at the Headwaters Arts & Conference Center in Dubois on January 4th, 2020. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend to help support the Karn family during this time of need.
Doors open at 5:00 pm, and the night will include raffles, silent auction, live auction, games, cash bar, and spaghetti dinner.
Main raffle items: Weatherby Carbonmark .300 Wby mag, Remington VTR .22-250, Sig M400 Tread 5.56, Sig P365 9mm
If you would like to donate auction items, please contact Matt Frericks at 307-240-7091, Carston Akins at Noon Rock or Kyle Miller 307-699-0018.
The “Get Orange for Oughen!” Facebook event page will have the most up-to-date information.
