    SLIB approves BRC Planning Grant for Northern Arapaho Tribe

    (Cheyenne, WY) – The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) presented four Business Ready Community (BRC) Planning Grant requests to the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) at their meeting on June 6, 2024. The SLIB approved all requests as listed below.

    BRC Planning Grants Approved:

    • Economic Development Comprehensive Master Plan – The Town of Mountain View requested a $75,000 planning grant to develop an economic development plan outlining a long-term vision and goals for economic growth.
    • Wind River Reservation Data Center Feasibility Study – ​The Northern Arapaho Tribe requested a $50,000 planning grant to determine the feasibility of expansion of business activities in the technological industry in the Wind River Reservation area.
    • Economic Development Plan – The Town of Ranchester requested a $75,000 planning grant to develop an economic development plan for the town. The last planning document completed is approximately 15 years old.
    • Economic Development Plan – The Town of Wright requested a $100,000 planning grant to help identify potential current and future economic development opportunities for the community.
